Job Description:
- Responsible for providing immigration support, which includes case work as well as researching new regulations, identifying the impact of new regulations, proposing new processes or process improvements, and implementation of new or revised processes.
- Provide support with miscellaneous global mobility matters such as international assignments and relocation.
- Serve as a liaison with suppliers such as external immigration counsel, relocation, international assignment, and expat tax equalization providers.
- Provide data to external suppliers (immigration, relocation, international assignments, tax consultant) as needed for the case.
- Ensure the completion of paperwork required for work visa and its related processes in a timely manner.
- Assess applications for submission to immigration and deal with a high volume of very detailed and complex correspondence.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for general mobility-related queries from employees and managers.
- Upload employee data into mobility internal systems.
- Coordinate international transfers, supporting HR Business Partners with international relocations.
- Provide mobility information and advice to payroll.
- Liaise with HR Business Partner/business support team when and as needed.
- Ensure all employee documents are properly submitted and recorded on employee files.
- Prepare Due Diligence documents for internal or external audit.
- From time to time, undertake other duties of a similar nature as reasonably required by your reporting manager.
- Carry out ad-hoc administrative tasks.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- 5 years of immigration experience at a global company; Europe immigration is a plus.
- Previous experience implementing new processes and programs.
- High integrity, with the ability to maintain confidentiality at all times.
- Good knowledge of immigration regulations, Labour Law, and local legislation.
- Excellent organizational and administrative skills with good attention to detail.
- The ability to convey complex issues concisely and clearly to a wide range of people, including non-native speakers of English.
- Excellent organization and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage conflicting priorities and a busy workload in a rapidly changing environment.
