Van Der Hout LLP is searching for a dedicated Paralegal to support their employment and family-based immigration practice. This full-time, in-office role offers the chance to collaborate closely with attorneys on both non-immigrant and immigrant visa petitions and other related filings.

The successful applicant will possess strong organizational skills and attention to detail, along with a solid background in immigration law.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Associate's Degree and Paralegal Certificate required.
• At least two years of paralegal experience in business immigration.
• One year of prior experience with PERM case preparation preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail needed.
• Excellent communication and writing skills required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft applications and case management software essential.

Responsibilities

• Prepare non-immigrant and immigrant visa petitions.
• Monitor and manage all aspects of PERM cases.
• Communicate with clients regarding case processing issues.
• Track and report on recruitment milestones and deadlines.
• Update case statuses using client database systems.
