Job summary

The Columbus office of Vorys, Sater, Seymour and Pease LLP is seeking an experienced immigration paralegal for a full-time role. The successful candidate will work on business and employment-related immigration matters, with occasional family-based cases, and will join a team that values accuracy, communication, and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and ABA-approved paralegal certificate or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5 years experience with employment-based immigration work preferred.
• Knowledge of immigration procedures and processes.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to research accurately.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and file petitions including nonimmigrant and immigrant petitions.
• Gather facts and documentation in support of petitions.
• Review files for status and maintain client matters and calendars.
• Draft correspondence regarding procedural matters and status updates.
• Interact with government agencies such as USCIS.
• Perform legal research and analysis.
