IMMIGRATION PARALEGAL

A successful candidate will be able to assist during all phases of the immigration process and be willing to provide high-quality client support. You will prepare and file various forms with immigration agencies and work closely with supervising attorneys. We offer on-the-job training and industry-leading benefits.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and filing applications with USCIS, including family-based petitions, adjustment of status, provisional waivers, naturalization, and U-Visas.
• Preparing and filing applications with the Immigration Court, focusing on asylum and cancellation of removal applications.
• Drafting motions for Immigration Court, such as Motions to Change Venue, Motions to Consolidate, and Motions to Substitute Counsel.
• Communicating with clients to gather evidence and support their cases.
• Drafting affidavits with clients in support of their cases.
• Electronically filing applications and requests with immigration agencies, including FOIA requests and court filings.
• Managing case deadlines and organizing case information in software.

• At least 1 year of immigration paralegal experience
