Job summary

The University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee seeks a full-time Immigration Coordinator within the Center for International Education to support international students with immigration advising and document issuance. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• Citizenship or permanent residency required to serve as DSO/ARO.
• Strong written communication skills required (example in cover letter).
• Minimum of 2 years experience in a Post-Secondary academic setting.

Responsibilities

• Advise international students on immigration matters and provide counseling.
• Coordinate issuance of immigration documents (I-20s/DS-2019s) through DHS/SEVIS.
• Maintain DHS SEVIS reporting and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Coordinate prearrival advising for admitted students and respond to visa denials or changes.
