Job summary

The University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee Center for International Education is seeking a full-time Immigration Coordinator to provide immigration advising and issue I-20s/DS-2019s for international students. You will work as a designated school official, assist with SEVIS reporting, and collaborate with campus partners to support student visa processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Experience with international students and DSOs/AROs is valued.
• Strong written communication and ability to interpret regulations for students.

Responsibilities

• Advise on student visa issues through individual consultations and workshops.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to advocate for international students.
• Coordinate DSOs and issuance of immigration documents (I-20/DS-2019) via SEVIS.
• Provide prearrival advising and coordinate reporting for new arrivals.
• Support campus internationalization initiatives and program development.
