Qualifications

• 3-5 years of Immigration Law Experience is essential.
• Team player with strong interpersonal skills.
• Record of advancing legal cases and managing work.
• Experience with Family-Based Petitions, Humanitarian cases, EOIR, Detained cases, Citizenship, and other USCIS applications.

Responsibilities

• Explain immigration concepts and present solutions.
• Represent clients in removal proceedings.
• Manage a caseload of immigration cases.
• Visit and conduct intake with detained individuals at centers.
• Prepare diverse immigration applications, including removal defense and family-based immigration petitions.
• Review immigration applications and packets and make necessary adjustments.
• Present to and work with law enforcement, prosecutorial offices, and community organizations on changes in immigration law.
• Meet with potential clients for strategic immigration consultations and determine necessary strategies.
• Develop strategies and prepare clients/witnesses for court/USCIS testimony.
• Provide legal analysis for clients to determine case benefits.
• Prepare and submit legal briefs for various immigration cases.

Immigration Attorney

We're looking for an admitted attorney for an Associate Immigration Attorney position within a premier law firm with room for growth. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated attorney to gain valuable experience and further their career with an established firm in the Phoenix Area. As an Associate Attorney, you will report to the Managing Immigration Attorney, manage your caseload, interact with clients, and collaborate with our Immigration Team of Attorneys and legal assistants.

Responsibilities

1. Explain immigration concepts and present strategic solutions
2. Represent non-detained and detained individuals in removal proceedings before the Immigration Court and Board of Immigration Appeals
3. Manage workload of cases
4. Visit and conduct intake with detained individuals at centers
5. Prepare diverse immigration applications, including removal defense and family-based immigration petitions
6. Review immigration applications and packets and make necessary adjustments
7. Present to and work with law enforcement, prosecutorial offices, and community organizations on changes in immigration law
8. Meet with potential clients for strategic immigration consultations and determine necessary strategies
9. Develop strategies and prepare clients/witnesses for court/USCIS testimony

Qualifications

• At least 3-5 years of Immigration Law Experience
• A team player who is open to helping, strategizing, and working with fellow associates
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required
• Interpersonal skills of the highest caliber
• Record of advancing legal cases and managing a caseload
• Experience with Family-Based Petitions, Humanitarian cases, EOIR, Detained cases, Citizenship, and other USCIS applications
• Experience with Case Management Software is preferred
