A prominent law firm in Indianapolis is seeking an Associate Attorney to join their expanding Immigration Practice Group. Candidates should have a J.D. and at least one year of experience in immigration law, with skills in client advocacy and legal research. Responsibilities include managing cases, representing clients in court, and drafting legal documents. Qualifications

• Active bar license in any U.S. jurisdiction (Indiana preferred).
• At least 1 year of experience practicing immigration law.
• Experience with removal defense and family-based cases preferred.

• Familiarity with humanitarian forms of relief strongly preferred.
• Strong oral, legal research, and writing skills.
• Excellent communication and client advocacy skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of immigration matters from intake through resolution.
• Represent clients before Immigration Courts, USCIS offices, and other agencies.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and applications.
• Conduct client interviews and prepare clients for hearings and interviews
• Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff
• Maintain timely and accurate case documentation

Position Overview

Banks and Brower is seeking a motivated Associate Attorney with at least one (1) year of experience practicing immigration law. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who wants hands-on experience, mentorship, and meaningful work serving immigrant communities.

Practice Areas

• Family-based immigration (Family-based petitions, Adjustment of Status, Consular Processing, and Waivers)
• Naturalization and other benefits before USCIS
• Client counseling, case strategy, and court appearances
• It is possible for cross-practice areas as well if desired (criminal, family, personal injury)
