Job summary

Davidson & Seseri, LLC, a Chicago-based boutique law firm specializing in immigration and nationality law, seeks an associate attorney with at least 3 years of experience to join its dynamic practice.

Reporting to the firm partners and supported by a team of paralegals, you will swiftly acquire oversight and management of a full caseload of family and employment-based matters, including hearings and interviews, while maintaining meticulous case notes and deadlines.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Licensed and in good standing in the U.S. (Illinois preferred).
• Proficiency in Spanish preferred; other languages a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assess viability of new matters
• Communicate with clients regularly regarding case developments
• Conduct legal research
• Draft filings
• Review documentation in lieu of or prior to more senior attorneys
• Prepare clients for and represent them at hearings and interviews
• Maintain accurate case notes, deadlines, billing entries and other records
• Collaborate with paralegals and staff to advance cases efficiently
