BCG Attorney Search in Los Angeles, CA seeks an admitted Immigration Attorney for a promising Associate position. The attorney will manage a caseload, interact with clients, and collaborate with a team of lawyers and legal assistants.

Requirements include 1–4 years of immigration experience and JD from an accredited school. Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred; adjoined responsibilities include removal defense and family-based petitions.

Qualifications

• JD required and admitted to practice law.
• 1 to 4 years of immigration law experience.
• Fluent in English; bilingual Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Explain immigration concepts and present strategic solutions.
• Represent individuals in removal proceedings before the Immigration Court and Board of Immigration Appeals.
• Manage a workload of diverse immigration cases.
• Conduct intake with detained individuals at centers.
• Prepare immigration applications, including removal defense and family-based petitions.
• Review and adjust immigration applications/packets as needed.
• Collaborate with law enforcement and community organizations on immigration law changes.
• Conduct strategic consultations with potential clients.
• Develop strategies and prepare clients/witnesses for court/USCIS testimony.
• Prepare and submit legal briefs for various immigration cases.

Duties

• Experience with Family-Based Petitions, Humanitarian, EOIR, Detained, Citizenship, and other USCIS applications.
• Experience with Case Management Software is preferred.
• Bilingual in English/Spanish is preferred.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications
