Job summary

Fragomen, Del Rey, Bernsen & Loewy, LLP is seeking a Business Immigration Analyst in New York. You will support case preparation, document gathering and petition filing with government agencies, while communicating with foreign nationals and client contacts to provide timely case updates.

Under supervision, you will learn immigration matter types, meet SLAs, summarize data in case management systems, and help ensure compliance with applicable laws and firm standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (or paralegal cert) with client-facing experience.
• Client-service mindset with attention to details in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines while escalating issues to supervisor.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; proofreading and drafting skills.
• Experience using MS Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Assist with case preparation, document gathering, and petition filing.
• Draft case materials and communicate case status to clients and foreign nationals.
• Meet SLAs and relay progress or escalations to supervisor.
• Summarize data in case management systems for clients and managers.
• Contribute to team productivity and maintain regulatory compliance.
• Follow firm standards and data privacy guidelines.
