Job summary

The Immersive Learning Lab Technician at CCD Immersive Learning Lab at the Auraria Campus in Denver supports Dreamscape Learn, a VR platform used for hands-on learning. This part-time, permanent role reports to the Lab Manager and focuses on keeping the lab running smoothly and delivering excellent student and faculty support.

Qualifications

• 1 year of hands-on technical support (VR/AV/IT/instructional tech) required.
• 1 year of customer service experience with diverse audiences.
• Associate degree in Communications, Education, CS or related field.

Responsibilities

• Maintain daily lab operations and guest support.
• Set up lab for daily use and follow opening/closing procedures.
• Guide participants through VR experiences, headset setup and usage.
• Provide friendly, clear customer service to students, faculty, staff and visitors.
• Serve as on-site point of contact for Lab issues and questions.
• Troubleshoot VR equipment and assist with maintenance and testing.
