Job summary

Metra is seeking a Learning Innovations Designer to drive digital transformation in training. You will oversee VR, AR, and AI-based programs that prepare the workforce for evolving operational demands. You will manage immersive content platforms and internal support systems across departments.

The role focuses on improving safety, technical proficiency, and performance tracking while coordinating budgeting and procurement for digital projects within Metra University.

Qualifications

• Degree in a related field or 5 years in instructional design, training coordination, or game design.
• Knowledge of scenario-based learning and blended modalities (ILT/VILT/e-Learning/VR/AR).
• Experience with AI tools or AI-based learning analytics.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and delivery of VR/AR/AI-driven training programs to improve safety and proficiency.
• Prototype with VR/AR, AI agents, simulations, and branching scenarios to enhance learning outcomes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align training with KPIs, budgeting, procurement, and digital infrastructure.
