Job summary

3M HEALTHCARE is seeking an experienced AR/immersive learning engineer in the United States to design and validate AR training content. You will create AR work instructions, validate 3D models, and edit videos as needed while researching next‑generation solutions and producing reports.

You will collaborate with team members to ensure clear, repeatable results, contribute to program milestones, and support continuous improvement. Domestic and international travel up to 10% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of relevant experience, or Master’s with 3+ years.
• Experience developing AR training, immersive simulation environments, or interactive learning technologies.
• Proficiency in validating 3D models and creating AR work instructions.
• Ability to edit instructional videos and adapt to new software quickly.

Responsibilities

• Create work instructions using Augmented Reality software.
• Validate 3D models in model viewers.
• Edit instructional videos, if needed.
• Research next‑generation solutions and generate reports.
• Communicate and collaborate with team members to produce well‑understood and repeatable results.
• Contribute to the completion of milestones associated with your program.
• Contribute to continuous improvement within your team.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and other engineers on external teams.
• Travel requirement: 10% or less, including domestic and international travel.
