Job summary

PETA seeks a bold, creative leader to conceptualize and execute immersive experiential marketing projects in the United States. You will drive pop-ups, live activations, installations, and stunts that generate media coverage and engage audiences across digital platforms.

Lead budgeting, timelines, and vendor partnerships while collaborating with Communications, Campaigns, and Marketing teams to amplify PETAs campaigns and impact. A passion for animal rights and vegan living is essential.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • 5+ years in experiential marketing, live events, or related fields.
  • Proven ability to execute non-traditional experiential projects.
  • Strong project management, budgeting, and timelines.
  • Experience managing vendors, fabricators, and partners.
  • Ability to generate media coverage and viral social content.
  • Comfort in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
  • Commitment to vegan lifestyle and PETAs mission.

Responsibilities

  • Conceptualize and execute innovative experiential marketing projects that capture public attention, provoke thought, and drive media and social engagement.
  • Translate big, bold ideas into real-world activations—thinking through how people will interact with, feel, and respond to each experience.
  • Lead all aspects of project execution, including planning, budgeting, timelines, permitting, fabrication, logistics, and on-site production.
  • Identify and manage external vendors, fabricators, venues, and partners to bring projects to life.
  • Collaborate closely with Communications, Media Relations, Campaigns, and Marketing teams to maximize reach, press coverage, and impact.
  • Work alongside creative and strategy teams to develop concepts that are culturally relevant, provocative, and aligned with PETAs mission.
  • Ensure all experiential projects are designed with content capture in mind, helping generate compelling social media and video assets.
  • Problem-solve creatively and operationally, navigating ambiguity and overcoming challenges to deliver impactful results.
  • Stay up to date on cultural trends, experiential formats, and innovative marketing approaches.
  • Drive projects from ideation through execution, ensuring deadlines, budgets, and goals are met.
