Job summary

Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush, with locations in Chicago and the Western Suburbs, seeks an IME Financial Coordinator for its Westchester, IL corporate office. The role follows up on Independent Medical Exams and payment arrangements with payers, lawyers, and employers, requiring strong organization and attention to detail.

This is a hybrid, full-time position, Monday through Friday. Essential duties include billing mailings, claims submissions, and maintaining clear communications with carriers

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of one year of work experience, preferably in a medical office.
• Workers' Comp experience is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Mails out bills with reports to insurance companies or law firms.
• Submits claims and documentation to responsible parties for processing and payment.
• Maintain telephone contact with parties to inform and update.
• Keep detailed documentation of all correspondence and contact with carriers, claimants, physicians, and attorneys.
