Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Pennsylvania Department of Health Nursing Assistant Certification (preferred).
• 1 year direct patient care experience or current enrollment in a health-related program.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient care including hygiene, comfort, safety, and daily activities.
• Take vitals, measure intake/output, assist with feeding and mobility.
• Document tasks per unit policy and report to the nurse.
• Assist with admissions: orient patients to the unit and room.
• Respond to call lights and ensure patient/family needs are met.
• Restock supplies and maintain unit cleanliness.
• Assist with transport of patients and interunit transfers.
