Job summary

Adventist HealthCare's White Oak Medical Center in Maryland seeks an experienced Patient Care Technician for the IMCU Department. You will perform vital signs and activities of daily living under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, follow the care plan, and help maintain a culture of safety.

This full-time role requires a High School Diploma, Maryland CNA license (or CNA program completion with exam), BLS certification, and strong English skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Successful completion of a CNA or first-year Nursing School Program and CNA exam.
• Maryland CNA license required.
• Active American Heart Association BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Take vital signs and assist with activities of daily living under RN supervision.
• Follow care plan as established and delegated by the RN.
• Report changes and maintain a culture of safety in the unit.
• Identify and report malfunctioning/expired equipment and keep work areas clean and organized.
• Participate in department education and professional initiatives.
