Job summary

White Oak Medical Center seeks an experienced Patient Care Technician for the Intensive Care Unit to support nursing staff with vital signs, ADLs, and patient comfort while following the care plan. The role requires a Maryland CNA license and BLS; a High School Diploma is needed.

This is a full-time night shift with a 36-hour week and a pay range of $19.21–$24.90 per hour, with benefits. Candidates should have strong English skills and computer proficiency.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Maryland CNA license and BLS certification required.
• Successful CNA program completion and CNA exam completion required.

Responsibilities

• Take vital signs and assist with activities of daily living under RN supervision.
• Follow care plans established by the Registered Nurse.
• Report to RN and participate in education programs and safety initiatives.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and ensure equipment is safe and properly stored.
