Job summary

Sentara Princess Anne Hospital in Virginia Beach seeks a Patient Care Technician (PCT) for the Intermediate Care Unit 4B on the night shift. You will assist with patient care, support admissions and discharges, and help maintain a safe, clean environment under the supervision of a registered nurse.

This role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, and active BLS certification within 90 days. CNA/NCMA/NCPCT or Navy Hospital Corps training or current clinical student status are acceptable

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.
• Multiple acceptable certifications/pathways listed (CNA, NCMA, NCPCT, Navy Hospital Corps, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care under the supervision of an licensed nurse.
• Support admissions and discharge processes.
• Observe and report changes in patients' conditions to the nurse.
• Adhere to patient safety practices on the unit.
