Job summary

Providence St. Vincent Medical Center is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to support the IMCU in a .9 FTE day shift schedule (7am-7:30pm, 3 shifts weekly) with rotating weekends.

You will work closely with RNs to admit, discharge, and transfer patients, monitor vitals, and assist with mobility under safe handling protocols. The role offers strong benefits, including paid time off, tuition reimbursement, retirement plans, and caregiver support programs.

Qualifications

• Oregon Nursing Assistant Certification License is required.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist RN with admissions, discharges, and transfers.
• Measure and record vital signs, output, and weights.
• Collect specimens and perform fingerstick capillary blood tests.
• Assist with client mobility and transfers using lifts and safe handling devices.
• Engage in continuing education and professional development opportunities.
• All other duties as assigned.
