Job summary

Adventist Health Sierra Vista in California operates a 162-bed facility with a busy medical imaging department. This radiology technologist role supports x-ray, CT, ultrasound, MRI, NM, and mammography exams and ensures high-quality images and patient safety.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in radiologic technology required.
• ARRT certification required.
• BLS certification required.
• Current RT license in practice state required; ability to perform CT/MRI/PM modalities is expected.

Responsibilities

• Operate x-ray, CT, ultrasound, MRI, NM and/or mammography equipment.
• Perform three modalities competently on a regular basis.
• Safely transport and transfer patients between gurneys and wheelchairs.
• Test defibrillator and ensure crash cart readiness.
• Conduct mobile imaging examinations as needed.
• Prepare contrast agents for imaging procedures.
• Assist in achieving departmental objectives and goals.
