Job summary

BayCare Health System in Winter Haven is seeking an Imaging Technologist Intern to perform imaging procedures under the general supervision of Medical Imaging team members, following professional practice standards and the guidelines of their training program. The role focuses on supporting various modalities during the co-op experience, adhering to licensure requirements, and gaining hands-on experience in a clinical setting.

Part-time schedule with variable shifts, including evenings.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in Radiology, Nuclear Medicine, or Ultrasound program (Essential).
• Basic Life Support (Essential).
• Imaging Services experience is nonessential.

Responsibilities

• Perform imaging procedures under supervision according to program guidelines.
• Follow professional practice standards and licensure requirements.
• Support imaging operations as an Intern at the facility.

Summary:

Perform imaging procedures under the general supervision of Medical Imaging team members, performs imaging procedures utilizing the guidelines of the professional practice standards of specific modalities the co-op experience is in. Perform procedures according to requirements of clinical program they are enrolled in and practices within the licensure requirements for given imaging modality.
