Job summary

BayCare Health System in St Joseph's South seeks a part-time imaging intern to perform procedures under supervision. You will work within the Diagnostic Imaging-SJS facility, following professional practice standards and licensure guidelines for your program.

Currently enrolled radiology, nuclear medicine, or ultrasound students are encouraged to apply; BLS certification is required and prior imaging exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an accredited imaging program.
• Basic Life Support certification required.
• Experience in imaging services is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform imaging procedures under general supervision.
• Adhere to professional practice standards for modalities.
• Follow licensure requirements for the respective program.

Summary:

Perform imaging procedures under the general supervision of Medical Imaging team members, performs imaging procedures utilizing the guidelines of the professional practice standards of specific modalities the co-op experience is in. Perform procedures according to requirements of clinical program they are enrolled in and practices within the licensure requirements for given imaging modality.
