Job summary

BayCare Health System in Tampa invites a student-intern to perform imaging procedures under the general supervision of the Medical Imaging team. The position supports the Interventional Radiology-SJH department and participates in clinical program requirements, practicing within licensure standards for the modality.

This part-time internship requires enrollment in Radiology, Nuclear Medicine, or Ultrasound programs, and current Basic Life Support certification.

Qualifications

• Must meet all requirements of the specified internship/training program.
• Currently enrolled in Radiology, Nuclear Medicine, or Ultrasound programs.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Imaging Services experience is nonessential.

• Perform imaging procedures under the general supervision of Medical Imaging team members, following modality standards.

Summary

Perform imaging procedures under the general supervision of Medical Imaging team members, performs imaging procedures utilizing the guidelines of the professional practice standards of specific modalities the co-op experience is in. Perform procedures according to requirements of clinical program they are enrolled in and practices within the licensure requirements for given imaging modality.
