Job summary

BayCare in Riverview, FL is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist for the Radiology and Imaging department. You will perform diagnostic sonographic procedures, manage RIS data, assist physicians, and support file room operations and patient transport to ensure efficient departmental workflow.

Required qualifications include an Associates or Technical Ultrasound education, BLS and RDMS credentials, and documented Ultrasound experience. Weekend schedule is every 3rd shift, with dayshift hours 7:30-4.

Summary: The Ultrasound Technologist performs diagnostic sonographic procedures in accordance with established clinical and safety standards. This role is responsible for all duties related to imaging patient care, including radiology information system (RIS) data management, file room operations, general clerical tasks, physician assistance, housekeeping support, patient transportation, and other related responsibilities necessary to ensure efficient and effective departmental workflow.

Minimum Qualifications

Education:

Education equivalent experience:

• Required - Technical - Ultrasound; Or - Associates - Ultrasound

Credentials:

• Basic Life Support
• Reg Diagnostic Med Sonographer

Credential equivalent experience:

• Required - BLS (Basic Life Support); Required - RDMS (Sonography)
• Required - BLS (Basic Life Support); Required - RDMS (Sonography)
