Job summary

BayCare Health System in Riverview is seeking a part-time imaging intern to support the Medical Imaging team. The role involves performing imaging procedures under general supervision and adhering to professional practice standards within the clinical program.

Responsibilities include following modality-specific guidelines, completing required internship activities, and maintaining licensure compliance. Occasional weekend shifts may apply; remote work is not offered.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an approved imaging internship or training program.
• Currently enrolled in Radiology, Nuclear Medicine, or Ultrasound.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform imaging procedures under supervision following modality guidelines.
• Adhere to clinical program requirements and licensure rules.
• Support imaging team during procedures and learn in a clinical setting.

Summary:
Perform imaging procedures under the general supervision of Medical Imaging team members, performs imaging procedures utilizing the guidelines of the professional practice standards of specific modalities the co-op experience is in. Perform procedures according to requirements of clinical program they are enrolled in and practices within the licensure requirements for given imaging modality.
