Job summary

Evolver is seeking an IT Imaging Technician to support laptop provisioning, imaging, and deployment for a federal customer in the National Capital Area. This on-site role supports approximately 10,000 users and requires applying baseline images, software configuration, asset management, and deployment documentation.

Responsibilities include imaging, software installation, ticketing updates, and collaboration with other IT teams to ensure device readiness.

Qualifications

• 2 years of imaging, provisioning, or deployment support experience.
• 1 year applying standard images and configuring devices for end-user deployment.
• 1 year installing and validating software per customer requirements.
• High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Apply customer-approved baseline images to laptops and workstations for deployment readiness.
• Install, configure, and validate software per organizational and user requirements.
• Verify user account information and ensure devices are in the correct OU prior to deployment.
• Perform QA checks to meet customer standards and deployment requirements.
• Coordinate with IT teams to ensure device readiness and compatibility with enterprise systems.
• Prepare equipment for deployment including laptops, monitors, docking stations, printers, and peripherals.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and deployment issues using documented procedures.
• Follow imaging, deployment, and asset-management processes and maintain records in ServiceNow and other systems.
• Document deployment activities and configurations; adhere to security policies and asset-management requirements.
