You will own system functionality from requirements through validation, collaborating with clinical, product, manufacturing, and service teams to ensure robust hardware and software integration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (Biomedical/Mechanical/Electrical/Software)
• 1–2 years in diagnostics, medical imaging or related engineering field
• Experience developing and executing system-level verification tests
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills for cross‑functional teams
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally (<5%)
• Experience with regulated medical devices or similar product development environments

Responsibilities

• Own the realization of new system functionality through the development lifecycle
• Define specifications, risk management, integration, test strategy, verification, and validation with cross‑functional teams
• Elicit and document high‑quality system requirements from clinical, service, manufacturing, marketing, and other stakeholders
• Translate requirements into detailed, testable technical specifications
• Develop and maintain system performance requirements and specifications
• Review emerging technologies for potential product incorporation
• Develop algorithms and perform testing to assess system performance and image quality
• Lead system-level verification and validation strategies
• Analyze test results and document performance in technical reports
• Investigate and resolve customer issues related to system performance and image quality
• Identify technical risks and drive mitigation strategies
• Champion product quality through thorough verification and clinical validation
• Translate cutting‑edge technologies into commercially viable solutions
• Ensure seamless integration of hardware and software subsystems across global locations
