Siemens Healthineers, Molecular Imaging, is seeking a Staff Systems Engineer in the United States to lead system-level investigations and define interfaces across PET, CT, and MR platforms. You will drive integration of hardware, firmware, and software with global engineering teams.

You will mentor engineers, translate complex challenges into actionable plans, and influence architecture to improve quality and performance in medical devices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Engineering, Physics, or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in systems engineering or related role involving complex medical devices.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead system-level investigations across subsystems, focusing on the PET gantry, and partner with development teams to drive resolution.
• Own and define cross-modality interfaces between PET and CT/MR systems, ensuring stability and validation.
• Drive system integration across hardware, firmware, embedded software, and application software developed by global teams.
• Improve product quality and reliability by contributing to integration and test strategies.
• Contribute to system architecture decisions, especially across embedded software and hardware layers.
