Responsibilities

• Accountable for safe and effective delivery of patient care under the technologist.
• Assist in preparing patients for exams and ensure comfort and safety.
• Help patients on/off procedure tables and coordinate care with staff.
• Coordinate patient care and relay information to care providers after procedures.
• Inspect transport equipment and report repairs as needed.
• Transport patients within Imaging and assist with IV insertion if competent.
