Responsibilities

• Safe and effective delivery of patient care under the direction of the technologist.
• Prepare the patient for the exam and attend to their needs.
• Assist patients on/off procedure tables and to/from rooms.
• Coordinate patient care and oversee communication with other providers.
• Inspect transport equipment and report repairs as needed.
• Transport patients to imaging and ensure comfort and safety.
• May perform IV insertion upon competency.
