Job summary

Intermountain Health St Vincent Regional Hospital in Billings, MT, is seeking a Radiology and MRI Tech Aide to support our imaging team in delivering safe, compassionate patient care. You will prepare patients for exams, assist technologists, transport patients, and help coordinate care across modalities.

The role may include IV insertion upon competency and offers PRN shifts and opportunities to grow within imaging services.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• IV insertion proficiency as site requires.
• Preferred: patient care or customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for safe and effective delivery of patient care under the technologist.
• Assist in preparing the patient for the exam and ensure comfort and safety.
• Assist patients on/off procedure tables and transport to/from procedure rooms.
• Coordinate patient care and communicate with other providers.
• Inspect transport equipment and request repairs as needed.
• Transport patients to/from Imaging while ensuring comfort and safety.
• May perform IV insertion upon competency and skill pass-off.
