Job summary

Intermountain Health St Vincent Regional Hospital in Billings, MT is seeking a Radiology and MRI Tech Aide (PRN) to support imaging staff in preparing patients, ensuring comfort and safety, and assisting with exam setup.

You will help transport patients, assist with tables, and may perform IV insertion on competency; a background in patient care and BLS is preferred. Strong teamwork and clear communication are essential in a fast-paced imaging environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and BLS certification required.
• IV insertion proficiency - as required by site.
• Preferred patient care or customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Safe and effective delivery of patient care under the direction of the technologist.
• Assist in preparing the patient for the exam and ensure their comfort and safety.
• Assist patients on and off procedure tables and to and from procedure rooms.
• Coordinate patient care and communicate pertinent information to other care providers after procedures.
• Routinely inspect transport equipment and notify when repair is needed.
• Transport patients to and from the Imaging department with safety and comfort.
