Job summary

TriStar Hendersonville Medical Center in Hendersonville, TN seeks an Imaging Staff Assistant PRN to support front office and imaging workflows. You will greet patients, process registrations, copy and verify information, and assist with reports and releases within the Imaging Services Department.

The role emphasizes patient service, HIPAA compliance, and multi-tasking in a fast-paced medical setting, with some flexibility in shifts.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a fast-paced medical setting is preferred.
• Ability to multi-task and stay organized.
• BLS certification or ability to obtain within 30 days.
• Proficiency with Windows-based systems and PACS.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and perform front office tasks; direct inquiries appropriately.
• Provide excellent customer service and accurate insurance/ID handling.
• Enter orders in Expanse and monitor patient wait times.
• Support with mailing, report distribution, and document release.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and maintain a clean departmental workflow.
• Assist with general department operations and daily schedule management.
