Job summary

TriStar Hendersonville Medical Center in Hendersonville, TN seeks a CT Technologist PRN to join the diagnostic imaging team. The CT Tech will perform CT scans, ensure high image quality, and provide excellent patient care following established protocols and ALARA principles.

Responsibilities include preparing procedure trays, obtaining patient history, starting IVs for contrast, operating injectors, coordinating patient flow, and supporting on-call rotations while maintaining required licenses

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology.
• Current ARRT-CT certification.
• 1 year post-graduate experience preferred.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT exams following protocols and ALARA principles.
• Prepare procedure trays with appropriate supplies and start IVs for contrast.
• Take patient history and communicate with radiologists; ensure documentation.
• Coordinate patient flow and maintain equipment and supplies.
• Promote patient education and ensure safety during exams.
