Job summary

Yale New Haven Health is seeking a Diagnostic Imaging Assistant to support patient care and imaging operations across CT locations as needed. Under supervision, you will assist with patient screening, preparation, documentation, and workflow coordination.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to interact professionally with patients, families, and team members.
• Ability to learn and utilize electronic medical record systems and imaging technologies.

Responsibilities

• Screen patients and assist with registration.
• Prepare patients for imaging exams and assist with positioning.
• Document patient information in EMR and ensure HIPAA compliance.
• Support imaging workflows and department operations.
• Coordinate with CT locations for oral contrast administration.
