Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Escort and transport patients to imaging areas safely.
• Assist with positioning and transferring patients onto tables.
• Prepare imaging rooms and equipment for procedures.
• Assist technologists during imaging procedures with equipment and supplies.
• Conduct MRI safety screenings to confirm patient readiness.
• Verify physician orders and obtain patient histories as directed.
• Schedule imaging appointments and perform routine clerical tasks.
• Maintain patient documentation and enter data in electronic health records.
• Monitor equipment and report malfunctions or shortages to appropriate staff.
• Follow infection control, radiation safety, and organizational policies at all times.
• Maintain cleanliness and stocking of imaging areas.
• Respond to emergencies and assist with patient care within scope of training.
