Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 90 days of hire.
• At least 1 year in a healthcare setting, preferably radiology or imaging.

Responsibilities

• Escort and transport patients to imaging areas safely.
• Assist with patient positioning and transfers per technologists.
• Prepare imaging rooms and equipment for procedures.
• Handle equipment, supplies, and contrast under supervision.
• Conduct MRI safety screenings to confirm readiness.
• Verify physician orders and obtain patient histories as directed.
• Schedule imaging appointments and manage clerical tasks.
• Maintain patient documentation and data entry in EMR.
• Report equipment malfunctions or supply shortages.
• Adhere to infection control and radiation safety policies.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of imaging areas.
• Respond to emergencies and assist patient care within training scope.
