Job Description

As an Imaging Specialist MRI, you will provide imaging services to assist in diagnosis or treatment, perform imaging procedures, and produce images for interpretation by licensed practitioners. You will exercise professional judgment, maintain a compassionate demeanor, and provide appropriate patient care across all age groups. You may also provide practical instruction to students.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate understanding of human anatomy, physiology, pathology, pharmacology, and medical terminology.
• Maintain high accuracy in positioning and magnetic resonance techniques.
• Ensure magnetic safety and protection knowledge.
• Perform or assist in magnetic resonance procedures independently.
• Prepare, administer, and document medication activities per laws and policies.

Requirements

• Licensed by ARRT in MRI, or willing to train if licensed in Radiology.
• Maintain CPR certification.
