Position Overview:

Under the direction of a radiologist or supervisor, performs radiographic procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision. Performs a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis. Assumes responsibility for designated areas or procedures as required. May have individual responsibility for specific radiographic procedures and/or be assigned duties including student instructions and lead roles.

Job Description

Education

Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma.

HS Diploma or equivalent education/experience.

Other: Satisfactory completion of formal radiologic technology training in an AMA-approved school.

Certification & Licensure

• CRT - Certified Radiologic Technologist
• RHF - Radiology Fluoroscopy
• ARRT - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
• BLS - Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider

Preferred Experience

Competent in components of radiographic practice as determined adequate by the Assistant Director.
