Job summary

Salem Health is seeking an Imaging Shift Lead at Salem Hospital to support daily department operations in Diagnostic Radiology. The role combines advanced imaging expertise with leadership to ensure efficient workflow, high-quality diagnostic images, and a collaborative team environment.

You will lead staff, coordinate schedules, review studies for quality, and act as a resource for physicians and departments.

Qualifications

• Licensed with the Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) in Radiography.
• ARRT national radiology certification within one year of hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of hire.
• Three to five years of radiology experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic imaging while selecting exposure factors to minimize patient radiation.
• Review examinations for accuracy and completeness; obtain additional information as needed.
• Troubleshoot imaging equipment issues and educate staff on operation and workflows.
• Oversee quality of work by technical and ancillary staff to meet standards.
• Coordinate daily workflow, delegate tasks, and manage add-on exam requests.
