Job summary

The role emphasizes clinical leadership, process adherence, and ongoing training of new hires within the Diagnostic Sonography program.

Qualifications

• Certifications: Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) or equivalent.
• 3+ years of relevant imaging experience in a clinical setting.
• Graduate of an approved discipline-specific program.

Responsibilities

• Functions as shift lead or pivotal clinical support for all levels of Diagnostic Sonographers.
• Reviews radiology exam requests and patient identification to ensure safe, appropriate and cost-effective imaging.
• Coordinates with the Supervisor Radiology and Manager Radiology to maintain shift staffing.
• Assists in orientation and training of new staff; performs additional duties as assigned.
