Job summary

Penn State Health Lancaster Medical Center is seeking an MRI technologist for night shifts. You will operate MRI scanners, monitor patient safety and comfort, and ensure high-quality images. The role may include administering gadolinium contrast and data entry into the exam system.

The position offers a 0.90 FTE, 3-12 hour weekend shifts, and a $2.50/hour night differential plus a weekend incentive. ARRT/ARMRIT registration and BLS are required prior to orientation.

Qualifications

• ARRT or ARMRIT registration and MRI registry eligibility.
• BLS certification required prior to orientation.

Responsibilities

• Operate Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) scanners.
• Monitor patient safety and comfort during imaging.
• View images and ensure quality of pictures taken.
• May administer gadolinium contrast intravenously.
• Enter patient data and exam details in the system.
