The role includes coordinating staff, scheduling, EMR workflows, compliance, charge capture, and collaboration with physicians to optimize service delivery across imaging modalities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five to seven years of progressive supervisory experience in a healthcare setting.
• Prior imaging or radiology department experience preferred.
• Experience with coding, billing processes, and accounts receivable functions.
• Working knowledge of federal, state, and local coding and billing regulations.
• Ability to analyze and assess training needs and competency plans for each imaging modality.

Responsibilities

• Oversees clinic support functions and maintains relationships with referring physicians and staff.
• Oversee scheduling, telephone services, clinical readiness, and daily patient care operations.
• Manage test ordering, EMR workflows, transcription, and distribution of notes with IT.
• Develop and maintain policies and procedures in compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Ensure accurate charge capture and incident reporting processes.
• Establish performance expectations and ensure policy compliance.
• Oversee performance management and staff communications.
• Assist with daily operations to maintain workflow efficiency.
• Assist in budgeting and resource utilization.
