Job summary

UofL Health is seeking an experienced Imaging Services Manager for Jewish Hospital in Louisville, KY. You will lead the Diagnostic Imaging Department, collaborate with the Director, and drive policy, budgeting, and accreditation initiatives.

The role requires radiologic leadership, five years as a radiographer, and three years supervisory experience, with required Kentucky license and ARRTR certification. AHL CPR/BLS credentials are also required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a JRC approved program in Radiologic Technology with an Associate’s degree (required).
• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare or related field (preferred).
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience as a general radiographer (required).
• Three (3) years of supervisory experience (required).
• Kentucky Radiation Operator’s License (KBMIRT) (required).
• Radiography certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-R) (required).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA) (required).
• Advanced ARRT certification (MR, US, NM, IR, etc.) (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the Diagnostic Imaging Department and ensure efficient patient flow.
• Assist in development and monitoring of department budgets and capital projects.
• Ensure compliance with accrediting bodies and HIPAA requirements.
• Collaborate with physicians, department chairs, and staff to optimize imaging services.
• Lead and evaluate department leaders; provide coaching and disciplinary actions as needed.
• Plan and coordinate purchasing and supply management for the department.
• Develop and implement policies to improve patient care and staff performance.
• Represent the department in hospital committees and cross‑functional initiatives.
