UofL Health is seeking an Imaging Coordinator at Medical Center East in Louisville, KY to lead protocol development and ensure high-quality diagnostic imaging across CT, MRI, NM, Mammo, US, and Echo. The role emphasizes collaboration with radiologists and technical staff to optimize workflows and patient care.

Bachelor’s degree preferred; 5 years of experience; ARRT certification required; Kentucky license; and commitment to safety, education, and continuous quality improvement.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of CT, MRI, NM, Mammo, US or Echocardiography experience.
  • Current ARRT Registry in CT, MRI, US, NM as applicable; Kentucky state license required.
  • Team leadership, communication, and ability to train staff in protocol development.
  • Basic knowledge of QA/QI programs and patient safety requirements (JCAHO/Joint Commission).

Responsibilities

  • Develops and updates CT, MRI, NM, Mammo, US, or Echo protocols to ensure high-quality patient scans.
  • Coordinates daily operations across imaging modalities and facilities to maintain efficiency.
  • Monitors quality and compliance, and provides staff training and orientation on protocols.
  • Ensures regulatory compliance and maintains staff competency and documentation.
  • Promotes patient safety and delivers compassionate, professional care.
