Job summary
Providence is seeking an Imaging Services Director to lead all staff within the Imaging Services department at Mission Hospital Regional Medical Center. You will oversee technical procedures, quality, and state requirements while ensuring safe, effective patient care and efficient workflow.
Reporting to the Director, you will manage both clinical and clerical teams, drive compliance with JCAHO standards and regulatory guidelines, and shape service delivery to support Providence's mission of
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree for existing caregivers must obtain within 2 years of hire date.
- Graduate of an AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology or Allied Health Profession.
- Upon hire: National Certified MRI Technologist - ARRT or equivalent.
- Upon hire: Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board certification.
- Upon hire: ARDMS or ARRT certification in diagnostic medical sonography or radiology.
- Upon hire: ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology.
- Upon hire: BLS certification by American Heart Association.
- Upon hire: California Diagnostic Radiologic Technology Certification.
- Upon hire: California Fluoroscopy Certificate/Permit.
- Upon hire: California Therapeutic Radiologic Technology Certification.
- Upon hire: California Diagnostic and Therapeutic Radiologic Technology Certification.
- Upon hire: National Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer.
- 2-5 years of experience in a healthcare environment with 4 years management experience.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all technical and clerical staff in Imaging Services.
- Ensure workflow of safe and effective patient care and compliance with JCAHO and state requirements.
- Directly manage services related to assigned operations and drive quality initiatives.
