Job summary

Providence seeks an Executive Director, Imaging Services, to lead and align imaging operations across hospitals and centers. You will drive strategic initiatives, financial oversight, and performance improvement while partnering with system leaders to deliver high-quality, patient-centered imaging care.

In this senior role, you will direct multidisciplinary imaging teams, optimize throughput, and standardize practices across Providence divisions.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of job-related experience.
• 10+ years of progressive leadership/management experience.
• Experience with operational improvement, throughput optimization, and Lean methodologies.
• Experience managing complex operations, staffing models, and clinical workflows in high-acuity settings.
• 3+ years of clinical operations and direct patient care in diagnostic imaging (preferred).
• Knowledge of healthcare IT and patient care workflows.

Responsibilities

• Oversee imaging services across acute care hospitals, outpatient centers, and affiliated sites.
• Lead development and execution of service line strategies to improve access, growth, patient experience, quality, and operations.
• Design, monitor, and optimize imaging workflows and performance metrics.
• Build high-performing teams and foster collaboration across clinical and non-clinical stakeholders.
• Partner with executive leaders to align imaging operations with system priorities and ministry goals.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
