Job summary

UVA Health is seeking an experienced Manager of Diagnostic Imaging in Charlottesville to lead a ~55-person imaging team and daily operations. You will supervise three direct-report supervisors, oversee imaging and fluoroscopy guidance, and partner across disciplines to keep services safe, responsive, and aligned with priorities.

The role emphasizes developing supervisors, expanding leadership influence, and guiding teams through renovations and equipment upgrades in a Magnet-recognized academic

Qualifications

• Experience leading a multidisciplinary imaging team or department.
• Ability to guide daily operations and staff development.
• Strong collaboration across clinical and operational teams.
• Proven leadership in diagnostic imaging with patient safety focus.

Responsibilities

• Lead a multidisciplinary team of ~55 imaging staff and interns.
• Provide operational oversight for diagnostic imaging and fluoroscopy guidance.
• Coach supervisors and support professional development of technologists.
• Participate in interdisciplinary meetings and Radiology leadership duties.
• Solve moderately complex staffing, workflow, and equipment challenges.
• Ensure safe, efficient daily work within available resources and budget.
• Coordinate services with leaders inside and outside Radiology.
• Guide the department during facility renovations and technology upgrades.
